Drawn To Be Alive - where intelligence meets creativity
In some cases, it's the idea which makes a game. Something along the lines of Spore - or this title, "Drawn to be Alive".
The game is actually an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod and is being developed by French design school students as a school project. It's due in October 2006.
From what you can see so far, the gameplay is about being a 2D cartoon character who is deployed in a 3D world. Your character (made of paper, since he has just escaped from a comic book) has to hide from people in the real world and avoid dangers like fire. The game features very unique, intelligent moves in a PC game like "folding" your character to or jumping into drawings and being part of it to hide.
"Drawn to be alive" shows that the UT 2k4 engine is very versatile and far from being dead.
